German judoka Seija Ballhaus took the Cadet World title in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. She won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships in 2017 in Kaunas. Seija took bronze at the Junior European Championships in 2019 in Vaantaa. She won gold at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2021. She captured the European U23 title in Budapest in 2021. She captured a bronze medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2023. She took a silver medal at the European Open in Rome and GP Linz in 2023. She bagged bronze at the Grand Prix in Portugal in 2024. Gold medal at the 2024 Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi.
