German judoka Marlene Galandi took the Cadet World title in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. She became European Cadet Champion in 2017 in Kaunas. She also won the team title with Germany. She took bronze at the European Cup for seniors in Celje in 2018. Marlene Galandi was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U70kg in 2017. Leibnitz and Berlin in 2019 and European Cup in Celje in 2019. She captured a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Marrakech in 2019. She took a bronze medal at the Oceania Open in Perth in 2022.
