Austrian judoka Aaron Fara won the European Junior title in 2016 in Malaga. Fara won gold at the European Open in Rome in 2017 and won the European Open in Katowice in 2017. He was Austrian Junior champion in 2015 and 2016 and won European Cups in Prague and Ploiesti in 2016. He took a bronze medal at European U23 Championships in 2017 held in Podgorica. He claimed a bronze medal at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun. He clinched gold at the European Open in Madrid in 2022. He won the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2023. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2023.
