Jože Škraba was born on 8th of May 1937 in Ljubljana Slovenia. He is one of the greatest pioneers of the Slovenian judo, a respected member of society and a master of judo 8th DAN. He received several awards for his work in judo. He was a competitor, a coach of the Yugoslav and Slovenian judo teams and a federal judge. He wrote many professional papers on judo and published two books. In 2017, at the 1st national championship of the inclusive judo, his name was immortalised in the Judo Festival.
