Oceania Championships winner Liam Park made his World Championships bow in 2015 on his IJF World Judo Tour debut. This year has been the busiest of his young career after travelling to four Grand Prix (Agadir, Hohhot, Zagreb and Budapest) in three continents. Park won bronze at the Taipei Open last year. He captured a silver medal at the Pan American Open in Lima in 2019. National champion in 2022. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Cup in Winterthur in 2022. He clinched a bronze medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. He won the gold medal at the Melbourne Int Open in 2023.
