Dutch judoka Yannick Van Der Kolk claimed bronze at the European U23 Championships in Porec in 2020. He took bronze at the European Cup in Uster in 2019. He won the Dutch Junior title in 2017 and 2018 and captured various national cadet medals. He took bronze at the Junior European Cup in Kaunas in 2018. He claimed a bronze medal at the Dutch Championships in Almere in 2019. He took silver at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2022. He took the Dutch senior title in 2022 as last event of his top sport career and won the title together with his brother Dylan. he still took Dutch bronze in 2023.
