Kengo Takaichi won his first Grand Prix in 2014 in Budapest and followed up in Dusseldorf in 2015 U66kg. He finished 5th at the Worlds in 2014 but won the Team World title with Japan. Takaichi won the All Japanese title in 2014. Competed with Masashi Ebinuma for the Olympic Games. He won the IJF Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2016. Coach of Lien Chen-Ling.
