American judoka Jack Hatton took silver at the Grand Prix in Antalya in 2018. He captured a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2017. He won the Pan American Open in San Salvador and Santiago in 2017. He was US junior champion in 2013 and took bronze at senior level in 2013 and 2015. He clinched a bronze medal at the Pan American Championship in 2019 in Lima. He passed away in September 2019, 24 years young.
