Gu-ham Cho became World Champion in 2018 in Baku. He took silver at the Tokyo2020 Games. Cho won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2017. Cho took the victory in the Universiade in Kazan in 2013 and in 2015 in Gwangju. He won the Grand Slam of Tokyo in 2014. In 2011 he won silver at the World U20 Championships in Cape Town. He took a bronze medal at Grand Slams in Paris, Düsseldorf and Budapest in 2019 and bronze in Kazan in 2021. He won the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Hohhot and Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in 2019. Born during the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
