Japanese judoka Yoko Ono became world silver medallist in 2021 in Budapest. She took bronze at the World Championships in Baku in 2018. She won the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2017 and the Grand Slam in Düsseldor in 2018. In 2019 and 2020 she captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Paris. Yoko won gold at the European Open in Oberwart in 2017 and Grand Prix silver in 2018. World Mixed team gold in Tokyo in 2019. She won the Grand Slam of Osaka in 2019. She won the World Masters in Doha in 2021. She bagged bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021 and 2022. She won the Asian title in 2022.
