Hisayoshi Harasawa won Olympic Games silver in Rio 2016 and finished fifth at Tokyo2020. He took silver at the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo and bronze in Baku in 2018. He took eight World Tour victories. He won the FISU Universiade in Gwangju, Grand Slams of Tyumen, Tokyo in 2015 and Paris Grand Slam in 2015 and 2016. Grand Slam silver in Paris in 2019. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Montreal and Zagreb in 2019. World Mixed team gold in Tokyo in 2019. He bagged a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2021. He secured a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022.
