Dutch judoka Jur Spijkers excelled with gold at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021 and 2022. His accolades include being the European Cadet Champion U18 in 2014 and securing silver at the World Junior Mixed Team Championships in 2017. Spijkers also claimed gold at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019 and 2020, and earned silver at the European U23 Championships in 2019. Noteworthy achievements include bronze at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv and Paris in 2021, and silver in Abu Dhabi in 2022. He holds the 4th Dan grade and recently captured bronze at the Grand Slam Baku and Qazaqstan Barysy in 2024.
