Mexican judoka Luz Olvera won the Grand Prix in Cancun in 2017. She won silver at the PanAm Championships in 2013 U52kg. She won a few World Cup medals in Santiago in 2014 and in 2016 she won bronze at the Polish Open in Warsaw. She won the Pan American Open in Cordoba in 2019.
