Sergio Oliveira was Pan-American Champion three times. Sergio was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and started judo at an academy called “Associação Moacyr de Judô”. Second club was “Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras”, a multi-sports club that had a very famous soccer team. My third club was the “Esporte Clube Pinheiros” from 1985 to 2007. He won the World Cups in Prague and Leonding in 1992 and took 10 World Cup medals. He worked at the Olympic Training Centre in Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland for 10 years.
