Pan American Champion Lenin Preciado was the first men for Ecuador who won gold at the Pan American Games in 2015. He won the Pan Am titles in 2018, 2019 and gold at the Pan Ams in Guadalajara in 2021. He won four World Cups, his first in 2014 in San Salvador, followed by the African Open in Port Louis and PanAm Open Buenos Aires. He took bronze at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun. He captured the gold medal at the Pan American Open in Bogota in 2022. He took silver at the Pan American Open in Cordoba in 2023 and bronze in Santiago and Guayaguil. Gold medal at 2024 Pan American Open in Bogota.
