French judoka Walide Khyar finished fifth at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Olympic gold medal in the mixed team event at Paris 2024. He won the European title in 2016 in Kazan. He won European bronze in 2023 in Montpellier. He took bronze at the 2023 World Championships and bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2016. Khyar won the European Junior title in 2015 in Oberwart. He won bronze at the 2015 World Junior Championships in Abu Dhabi. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021. He clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Madrid in 2022.
