Japanese judoka Yuma Oshima won the World Cadet Championships in 2011 in Kiev U60kg and added World Junior bronze in 2013 in Ljubljana. He took bronze at the World Junior Team Championships in 2013 with Japan. He won his first Grand Prix medal in 2014 in Dusseldorf, aged 18. FISU silver in 2015. Won the Grand Prix Tashkent in 2015 and Grand Slam in Tyumen in 2016. He took bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg and Osaka in 2018 and silver in Ekaterinburg in 2019.
