Jean-Paul Bell is Elite Performance Coach at British Judo. He won two World Cup medals, both in Leonding. Bell was British champion in 1995 but lost 6 British finals. Bell was Commonwealth champion in 1992 and won the Belgian Open title in 1996. He won European bronze with the British team in 1992. Since 2017 he is in the Dutch coaching staff. At the 2019 World Championships he captured three medals with Noel van ‘t End, Juul Franssen and Roy Meyer. He was elected as European coach of the 2019.
