Mongolian heavyweight Duurenbayar Ulziibayar won bronze at the World Championships in Baku in 2018. He won the World Junior Championships U21 in 2014 in Miami. He won silver at the Grand Prix in Ulaanbaatar in 2016 and took bronze at the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2016. He won bronze at the Grand Slam in Paris and silver at the Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2017. He won bronze at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2019. Duurenbayar was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors O100kg in 2014 and 2015. At the 2020 Olympic Games he carried the flag for his country at the opening ceremony.
