Brazilian judoka Samanta Soares fought the World Junior Championships final in 2013. National champion in 2015. She won silver at the European Open in Tallinn and she took bronze at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016. Soares won the gold medal at the European Open in Prague in 2017. She won the Pan American Open in Lima in 2017. She claimed a bronze medal at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun and The Hague. She became World Military champion in 2018 in Rio. World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo in 2019. She triumphed with a gold medal at the Pan American Open in Lima in 2023.
