Hwang Ye-Sul won the Asian Games in 2010 in Guangzhou U70kg. She was Asian Champion in 2011 and 2012 U70kg. Hwang won World Cups since 2009 starting in Ulaanbaatar. Her main wins are the IJF World masters in 2010 and Grand Prix Jeju in 2013. Hwang is the last judoka to beat Ronda Rousey in 2010. Hwang won silver at the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2016.
