Former Brazilian judoka Nacif Elias won the PJC World Cup in Isla Margarita and San Salvador in 2010. Officially Nacif Sathler Elias Jr.. He switched to Lebanon in 2013 and won silver at the Asian Games in Incheon in 2014. He won the PanAm Open in Lima and Buenos Aires in 2016. He took bronze at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun. Born during the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. At the 2020 Olympic Games he carried the flag for his country at the opening ceremony. He claimed a gold medal at the Panam Open in Santiago in 2018. He took a gold medal at the Asian Open in Zouk Mikhael in Lebanon in 2022.
