Jean-Luc Rouge became World Champion in 1975 U93kg. He won silver and bronze in 1979. He claimed 4 European titles from 1973-1980. Rouge won the Tournoi de Paris 3 times and European gold with the French team. Rouge turned President of FFJDA, Vice president of EJU and General Secretary of IJF. On October 5th, 2017 he received from François Hollande (French President 2012-2017) the ‘Insignes de Commandeur de la Légion d’Honneur‘, one of the highest distinctions in France.
