Korean judoka Lim-Hwan Kim was in the final of the World Championships 2019 in Tokyo against Joshiro Maruyama. Kim won the bronze at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2014 and bronze at the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2015 U66kg. In 2016 he won the Grand Prix in Samsun. He took silver at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2019. Lim-Hwan clinched a gold medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019 and took silver at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2020.
