Turkish judoka Vedat Albayrak was previously Roman Moustopoulos (GRE), aka Vano Revazishvili (GEO). He became European Champion in 2021 in Lisbon and 2023 in Montpellier. He won bronze at the World Championships in Baku in 2018. He took silver at the Grand Prix in Portugal in 2024. He won the Grand Prix Antalya in 2018 and 2021. In 2013 Vedat won the Junior European title and a World Junior medal. He took bronze at the 2018 and 2019 World Masters. He took gold at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2020. He won the Grand Slam in Baku in 2021. His father is World Medallist Giorgi Revazishvili.
