British judoka Densign White was 1987 World bronze medallist in Essen U86kg. He took three European medals and was fifth at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles and Seoul. Later he became chairman of the British Judo Association and was elected IMMAF CEO in 2014. Under Densign’s charge, the IMMAF has fought a protracted battle for official sport recognition of MMA in order to obtain the same rights and benefits for participants as those of other sports. He was Head Sports Director of the EJU.
