Frigyes Szabó is twinbrother of Katinka Szabo and brother of Franziska Szabo. From a true judo family in Hungary. Competed at various major events. Was Hungarian Junior Champion in 2011. He won a silver medal at the European Cup in Belgrade in 2016. He took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Sarajevo in 2017. He took bronze at the Grand Prix in Budapest in 2018.
