Tamás Ibolya (Kékes) claimed the gold medal at the Hungarian Championships Budapest in 2010. She took gold at IJF Masters World Championships in Budapest. She won her first adult individual Hungarian championship title in 1984, she won seventh place at the Essen World Championships in 1987, and that year she was chosen as the first female athlete of the year in Hungarian judo. During her career, she won the Hungarian championship eleven times (silver in the women's ranking behind Éva Gránicz), the last time she was on the top of the podium in 2009. She died in March 2022 after a car accident.
