Mongolian judoka Nyam-Ochir Sainjargal won the Olympic Games bronze in London 2012 and won bronze at the 2015 World Championships in Astana. Sainjargal collected 20 World Cup medals. He won events in Dusseldorf, Grand Slam Paris, IJF Masters in Tyumen and was World #1 from april 2013 to april 2014. In 2011, when he was just starting out his career, Sainjargal gave Ono the shock of his life when he suddenly switched from his normal right stance to throw him with a left-sided uchimata for ippon.
