German judoka Igor Wandtke won gold at the Grand Prix in Qingdao in 2013 U73kg, and several international high level medals. Wandtke finished fifth at the 2024 World Championships in Abu Dhabi. He won three German national titles. In 2015 he won bronze in Paris and silver in Abu Dhabi, bronze in Havana in 2016. He won the European Cup in Celje in 2017. Took silver at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2018. He clinched a bronze medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot and Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi. Seized bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. Silver medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv.
