American judoka Brian Olson was 1997 World bronze medallist. Olson won the Pan American Games U90kg twice in 1999 and 2003 and took two Pan Championships titles in 1998 and 2001. He fought European Club Championships for his club Kenamju (NED). He won the A-tournament (World Cup) in Budapest in 2002 and seven other medals at World Cup events. Four of them in the Netherlands which was his second judo country.
