Spanish judoka Almudena Muñoz was part of the successful judo generation of Spain. She became 1992 Olympic Champion U52kg in Barcelona. One year later in 1993 she was in the World Championships final and was European Champion in that year. She won the Tournoi de Paris in 1991 and 1995.
