Aurélio Miguel was 1988 Olympic Champion in Seoul and bronze medallist in 1996 in Atlanta. He won three World Championships medals and was 1983 junior World Champion. He won many Pan American titles in 1982/85/86/88/92/96/97. He is the first ever Brazilian Olympic champion. Miguel was World University Champion in 1984. He won German Open, Dutch Open, Austrian Open, Belgian Open, US Open and Hungarian Open titles and was in the final of the Tournoi de Paris in 1988.
