Pedro Soares was 1994 European junior Champion who won two silver European medals in 1996 and 2002 and four in total. Pedro participated in the Olympics of 1996 and 2000. Soares won the Tournoi de Paris in 1998 U100kg. Now he is a successful coach and captured the world title with Jorge Fonseca in the Budokan in 2019.
