After his career Cristian Schmidt was Judo coordinator for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. He was an Olympian in London 2012, he retired from his judo sporting career in 2016. “I used to be a competitor. When arriving to an event, I just had to focus on the competition and on what was going on the tatami. Everything was ready and I simply had to perform.“ Schmidt won the PJC World Cup in Isla Margarita in 2010.
