Japanese judoka Noriko Anno is the four time World Champion from 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2003. She lost her first final in 2003. Her crown was the 2004 Olympic title in Athens U78kg. She trained at Meiji University and she is 7-time national champion. She won the Tournoi de Paris twice in 1995 and 1997. She triumphed at the German Open World Masters in 1999.
