French judoka Laëtitia Meignan was the 1992 Olympic bronze medallist. Meignan took bronze medals at the World Championships in 1986 and 1991. Meignan captured the Tournoi de Paris in 1993. At European Championships she won the title three times in a row 1991-1993.
