French judoka Ludovic Bimont seized silver at the Tournoi de Paris in 1995 and took silver at World Cups in Sofia and Moscow and bronze in Budapest. Ludovic Bimont was French champion in 1996 U60kg and won the European team title with France in 1996. Bimont fought against great fighters such as Tokuno, Taymans, Matuszek, Bagirov, Penas, Poulot at the major judo tournaments in that time. He passed away at the age of 50 in 2021.
