British judoka Rowena Sweatman was the 1994 European Champion U66kg and she won bronze in 1995 in Birmingham. Sweatman won World Cup medals in Paris, Warsaw, Basel and two in Prague. She was British champion in 1988 and 1997 and Commonwealth champion in 1998 and 1992. She became British Judo Association President.
