Egyptian judoka Ahmed Abdelrahman won the African Games in Brazzaville U81kg in 2015 and African title in 2016 in Tunis. In 2015 he was fifth at the World Junior Championships in Abu Dhabi. He became African Junior champion in July 2015. He clinched a bronze medal at the African Championships in Cape Town in 2019. He took gold at the 2021 African Championships in Dakar. Attained silver at the 2024 African Championships in Cairo.
