German judoka Marc Meiling was 1988 Olympic finalist in Seoul. He won international events in Potsdam, Prague, London, Leonding and Munchen. Meiling won three European medals from 1987-1990. Multiple champion of West Germany between 1984-1990. He triumphed at the German Open World Masters in 1993 and 1994.
