Cédric Taymans was 1997 World bronze medallist and World finalist in 2001 against Anis Lounifi. He won three World Cups and three European medals 1999-2001. Silver in 1999 in Bratislava. Taymans was 4 time Belgian champion U60kg and became a national coach producing new Belgian talent. He triumphed at the German Open World Masters in 2001.
