Judoka Angelique Seriese was 1988 Olympic Champion and 1995 World Champion. Seriese won three World Championships medals and an incredible 8 European titles in both heavyweight as plus category. Coached by Chris de Korte. She won the Tournoi de Paris in 1989 and 1994. She triumphed four times at the German Open World Masters. Seriese is one of four Olympic Champions of The Netherlands.
