German judoka Viola Waechter won her first Grand Prix at the age of 28 in Samsun. She had won several international IJF medals. Waechter won 3 German titles. She won World Junior silver when she was 19 in 2006. She won 3 Cadet German championships and 4 junior titles. Bronze at Grand Prix Jeju 2015. Waechter came back in 2017 and won a bronze medal at the European Open in Prague in 2017. She won a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2017.
