Judoka Maysa Pardayeva competed at the 2023 World Championships in Doha, won her first contest and lost to the later World Champion Deguchi fighting in the -57kg category. Bronze at the 2023 Asian Games Hangzhou -57kg and fifth at the 2024 Asian Championships in Hong Kong. Bronze medallist at the 2024 Grand Slam in Antalya. She triumphed at the European Open in Warsaw in 2024 at world cup level, after she won a bronze medal at the Asian Open in Kuwait in 2023. Pardayeva was one of the flag bearers of the Turkmenistan team at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Asian Games.
