Luciano Correa was World Champion in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro. He won world bronze in 2005. He competed at the Olympic Games 2008 and 2012. Correa won the PanAm Games in 2011 and 2015 and PanAm Championships in 2005 and 2009. He won the Grand Slam Moscow and Grand Prix Dusseldorf. In 2016 he won silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016. He won the Pan American Open in Santiago in 2017. Luciano Corrêa (BRA) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for seniors U100kg in 2009 and 2010.
