Italian judoka Savita Russo earned a bronze medal at the 2024 European Championships in Zagreb. She became 2023 Junior European Champion -63kg in The Hague. Finished with bronze at the 2023 Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo in 2022. Attained bronze at the 2023 European Open in Sofia in 2023. Savita took silver at the Junior European Cup in Poznan in 2023. She claimed the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Prague and Gradec in 2023. She is in the top three youngest participants at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games aged 19, behind Tara Babulfath (SWE-18) and Ibrahim Tataroglu (TUR-18).
