Giannis secured s silver medal at the African Open in Tunis and Algiers in 2023 and clinched a silver medal at the Asian Open in Kuwait in 2023. He took gold at the 19th Games of the small states in Pembroke. He took a gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Birmingham in 2023 and bronze in Berlin in 2023. He started with Judo when he was seven, a year later he met Sviad TSOTSKOLAURI, a Georgian judo coach, in Cyprus.
