Judoka Yamato Fukuda became the junior world champion in 2023 and 2024. He finished fifth at the Cadet World Championships Almaty in the category U66 in 2019. He claimed a gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Malaga in 2022. He's from Hyōgo and is currently a junior at Hieizan High School. He is not the same person as the U66kg athlete.
