Georgian judoka Irakli Demetrashvili clinched a silver medal at the Cadet European Championships in Warsaw. He secured a silver medal at the European U23 Championships in Potsdam. He became cadet world champion in Almaty in 2019. He captured a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2021 in Olbia. Irakli took silver at the European Open in Warsaw in 2022 and took gold at the European Open in Sofia in 2023. He secured a bronze medal at the Summer World University Games in Chengdu in 2023. Seized gold at 2024 European University Games in Miskolc.
